Have a fun evening while raising funds to help others
A fundraiser for a good cause will feature live music by local band LIMIT, a raffle, hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Maplewood Inn, 1780 E. County Road D, just west of the Maplewood Mall.
Proceeds from the event will send Dr. Kimberly Vrudny, Theology Department, and a group of students to Guguletu, South Africa, to purchase and distribute food for families living with AIDS.
Cost is a $20 donation per person or $15 with a valid St. Thomas student ID. Raffle tickets will be purchased separately.
Everyone's welcome; bring family members and friends!
Sponsors of the event are St. Thomas' Business 200 service-learning program and Open Arms of Minnesota, an organization that provides meals for people living with HIV/AIDS, being treated for breast cancer or living with multiple sclerosis or ALS.
