Holiday sale of photographs, greeting cards starts today
Sister Catherine (Kay) Cota, a St. Thomas Public Safety employee, will display and sell her photographs and greeting cards from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. two days this week: today, Thursday, Nov. 20, and Friday, Nov. 21, in Room 351, Terrence Murphy Hall. Everyone is welcome.
Cota , a member of the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary-Dubuque, Iowa, celebrated her 50-year jubilee with the order in June. Proceeds from the sale will go to this community of sisters for its work with women and children.
Cota will be on hand to answer questions regarding her pictures and handmade greeting cards. Her subject matter is varied and includes many interesting views.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.
