Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Human Services will be on campus Tuesday, Dec. 6, to provide students with information about potential internships. The session will run from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 62, lower level, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.
Seniors searching for paid internships for summer 2012 are invited to take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn about and network with this state agency. DHS helps people meet their basic needs by providing health care coverage, economic assistance and a variety of services for children, people with disabilities and older Minnesotans.
Registrations are preferred. To register click on “TommieCareers” on the right-hand column of the Career Development Center website and follow the "Student/Alumni" link to sign up under the “Event List” on the purple menu bar. Students also will find details about available internships on the center’s website.
