Mark Balma is well known, especially at St. Thomas, for his painting. Not everyone knows so well singer-songwriter Mark Balma, but you'll get the chance at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 14, in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium.
Balma and his band will play music from his soon-to-be-released CD, “Incognito,” a collection of his original music of folk, blues and rock in the American tradition. Special guests will include: Michael Billet, Richard Medek, Dale Strength, Andra Suchy, Gregg Inhofer and Larry Weigand.

A widely known fine artist best known as a painter of frescoes and portraits, Balma completed in 1994 his depiction of “The Seven Virtues” on the 17- by 112-foot atrium ceiling of Terrence Murphy Hall on the Minneapolis campus.
