The UST Irish Society will host its first annual Christmas Céilí, a Gaelic social gathering involving Gaelic folk music and dancing, on Thursday, Dec. 2.
Two Irish dance instructors from the Twin Cities will teach a traditional Irish group dance. Mince pies (fruit pies) and nonalcoholic mulled wine will be served, along with other refreshments.
Wear whatever is comfortable – while sweating. The dance will run from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. in Room 304 (ballroom), Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
"Don't miss this chance to partake in some traditional Irish holiday fun and to support Irish culture at UST," remarked Ryan O'Shaughnessy, vice president of public relations for the Irish Society.
