Jeremiah Program welcomes your support
The Jeremiah Program, a local organization that helps women and their young children move out of poverty through education, is opening a new St. Paul campus and welcomes service work and support by Business 200 students and others:
- Donations are being accepted for Jeremiah's child development center, which is scheduled to open in September. New or gently used items are welcome.
- Volunteers can support the Jeremiah Program by volunteering to be a tour guide for the ASID Showcase Home Tour June 9-17. Tour guides are needed to fill three-hour shifts. A portion of the event's proceeds also will benefit the Jeremiah Program.
- Volunteers are needed for the Cook for Kids/Care for Kids programs, which provide meals for families and child care for the children while their mothers attend the Jeremiah Program's empowerment classes.
