Knights of Columbus to host open house Oct. 4

The St. Thomas Chapter of the Knights of Columbus invites all Catholic men to an open house at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4.

The event will begin with Mass at St. John Vianney Seminary, followed by a presentation about the council. The presentation will be given by the council's chaplain, Father William Baer, and Paul Shovelain, grand knight; refreshments will be provided.

This event is for all Catholic men who are dedicated to living their faiths and bringing Christ to others through service to the community of St. Thomas. Events that the Knights of Columbus sponsor include: food drives, softball games, prayer vigils, lectures, winter-coat drives and fundraisers for Twin Cities charities.

For more information on the open house or joining the Knights of Columbus, e-mail Kevin Manthey or Shovelain.
