Last Philosophy Colloquium of semester April 20

‘The Spectrum of Truth and Religious Claims’ is topic of discussion on April 20

Philosophy and theology major Aaron Salasek will speak on “The Spectrum of Truth and Religious Claims” at the final spring Philosophy Colloquium. The colloquium will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in Room 126 (auditorium), John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.

“This presentation deals with the spectrum of religious truth claims,” says Salasek, “and the various approaches to viewing and weighing the claims made by adherents of faiths other than one’s own. The problem religious plurality poses to religious adherents is immense, but is it insurmountable?”
