Law School Hosts Constitution Day Forum Tomorrow

The Federalist Society and the American Constitution Society invite the University of St. Thomas community to a forum tomorrow to commemorate Constitution Day. Featured speakers will comment on significant Supreme Court cases from previous and future terms.

Speaking will be School of Law professors Mitchell Gordon, director of lawyering skills, and former federal prosecutor Mark Osler. Anthony Sanders, an attorney with the Institute for Justice-Minnesota chapter, also will speak. He litigates cutting-edge constitutional cases protecting economic liberty, private property, freedom of speech and other individual liberties in both federal and state courts across the country.

The event will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, in Room 235, School of Law, on the Minneapolis campus.

Lunch will be provided; everyone is welcome. Registration via e-mail or online is optional but appreciated.
