Law students provide free tax return assistance

The University of St. Thomas School of Law's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site is up and running. If you meet the income qualifications (under $25,000 for a single return, or under $40,000 for a joint return), come to the law school to get your taxes done free by IRS-certified law students!

The site is open 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.  It will be closed March 17, 21 and 24. It is open until April 11. If you have any questions, e-mail kmmcdaniel@stthomas.edu.
