Learners to Leaders, a professional networking and leadership development initiative for African American and other underrepresented communities by University of St. Thomas' Opus College of Business, will meet for the first time Wednesday, Feb. 10.
Learners to Leaders is designed for college students and recent college graduates from underrepresented communities who have demonstrated leadership ability and expressed an interest in continuing their education at the graduate level. More than 60 area college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates have pre-registered for this invitation-only event.
The program is the first phase of a “bridge initiative.” Not only is it a bridge from college to graduate school but it also serves as a bridge between the Opus College of Business and African American and other communities.
Leaders to Leaders will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Schulze Atrium on the Minneapolis campus, 1000 LaSalle Ave.
