In case you haven’t heard, the Charles J. Keffer Library in Opus Hall on the Minneapolis campus will be renovated over the next several months.
Phase one of the renovation will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and the entrance to Keffer on the second floor will be closed. During construction it will be necessary to use the first-floor door, which is accessible from the Opus elevators, as a temporary entrance.
Circulation staff will set up operations inside the library next to the first-floor door as a temporary service point for checkout and return of items, the storage of hold and reserve items, and other basic circulation functions.
The first-floor entrance will be used through mid-March 2012, after which the library will reopen with entry back on the second floor.
