UST Libraries announces the launch of UST Research Online, its showcase for the scholarly and creative works of the university’s faculty, students and staff.
UST Research Online advantages:
- Stores and makes available the creative output of UST faculty, staff and students
- Easily accessible from anywhere
- Allows for submissions from anywhere
- Searchable via Google Scholar
- Can be found via the library’s Summon product
- Will be the future home of theses and dissertations
- No binding costs for students
- A permanent archive for scholarship
- Can’t steal a copy
- Can’t cut out a page
UST Research Online can include preprints and final copies of working papers, journal articles, dissertations, theses, conference proceedings, and a variety of other content types, including the capability for publishing locally produced journals.
Library staff will work with Academic Affairs, university departments, research centers and individual faculty to select, submit and manage content, and will meet with university departments to introduce UST Research Online to the St. Thomas community.
