The UST Chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs is partnering with the Carlson School of Management and Hamline University to launch a professional chapter in the Twin Cities.
NAWMBA is a "not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women MBAs in order to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance the diversity of the nation's workforce," according to its Web site.
A pre-launch event to meet other professionals and learn about the soon-to-be-launched chapter will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at Sapor Cafe, 428 Washington Ave. N., Minneapolis.
