National neuroscience honorary society chapter is coming to St. Thomas

The University of St. Thomas will be one of the first schools in the country to have a chapter of Nu Rho Psi, the national neuroscience honorary society.

The society, created under the auspices of the national Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience, was founded last year; more information is available here.

An information meeting about the society, and also about the neuroscience program at St. Thomas, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 14, in Room LL45 of the John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts. “Study Monday” snacks will be provided.

Information also is available from faculty members Dr. J. Roxanne Prichard, who will be adviser to the new society, and Dr. Dwight Nelson.
