The purple and white wristbands will be sold in the upper quad today.
Need some extra purple for the homecoming game? Students in the university's Marketing and Business Law class (BLAW 490-01) can help. As a requirement for the course – to create a for-profit business – the class is selling silicon wristbands embossed with “St. Thomas.”
The wrist bands are one-size-fits-all, colored light purple with a white swirl.
The bands will be sold by class members all semester, including today just in time for homecoming. The bands will be sold for $1 from approximately noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in the upper quad.
