Nominations requested for Distinguished Educator and William B. Malevich awards

The All College Council invites nominations for the annual Distinguished Educator and William B. Malevich awards.

Do you know a faculty, staff or administrative member of the UST community who deserves recognition for all that they do? Then nominate them for one of these annual awards.

Nomination packets will be available at the Koch Desk and outside the Grill starting today, Wednesday, March 7, and will be due by Monday, March 26. All nominations are to be submitted by students and are to be addressed to the ACC office, Attn: Ann Hepola, Mail 5060.

A committee of undergraduates will vote on the nominees; the awards will be handed out at the Spirit of St. Thomas Day Awards on April 19.

The 2006-2007 Distinguished Educator Award will be given to a faculty member who best demonstrates outstanding teaching, guidance and involvement both in and out of the classroom.

The 2006-2007 William B. Malevich Award will be given to a member of the staff or administration who best demonstrates unrelenting support, encouragement and direction to the students of the University of St. Thomas.

If you have questions, contact Ann Hepola, ACC vice president of academic affairs.
