Open house Friday, March 30, in School of Social Work
The University of St. Thomas-College of St. Catherine School of Social Work will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 30, in the Summit Classroom Building.
The school moved from Loras Hall to its new location in mid-January. The faculty and staff invite you to stop by to see the school's new home.
The open house will include a 5 p.m. unveiling and dedication of two paintings, by Minnesota artist Jimmy Longoria in collaboration with Minnesota Timberwolves players Mark Madsen and Rashad McCants, donated to the school by Dr. Randy Herman and Dr. Angeline Barretta-Herman.
A building blessing ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. Father Steve Adrian, pastor of St. Matthew's Catholic Church on St. Paul's West Side and School of Social Work chaplain, will preside.
Everyone's invited!
