Personal Counseling and Testing Twitters

Personal Counseling and Testing is now on Twitter.

Starting this fall, Personal Counseling and Testing will post tweets offering helpful tips, advice and information for students. Already posted are tweets about surviving the first year at college, a downloadable relaxation exercise, services at Personal Counseling, and an explanation of “What is counseling?”

Throughout the year look for tweets on managing stress, social anxiety, surviving a break-up, winter blues, and life after graduation. Students are reminded that the Personal Counseling Twitter account is not a crisis line or a way to schedule appointments. In the event of a crisis, students are encouraged to take advantage of daily walk-in crisis hours or to call (651) 962-6750 to meet with a counselor.

For after-hours crisis help, resident students should contact their RAs or hall directors, and off-campus students can call Crisis Connection, (612) 379-6363.
