Please remember in your prayers Sara "Sally" Jane Hietpas, 82, who died Sunday, March 1. She was the wife of Quentin Hietpas '53, emeritus vice president of external affairs; mother of David Hietpas '85, Tom Hietpas '87 and Paul Hietpas '99, physical plant services; grandmother of Matt Endres '08, Sara O'Neill '12 and Paige Hietpas '18; and mother-in-law of Tom Gavin '74, Tom Endres '80, Dan Bettenburg '87 and Tanya Hietpas '94.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul. Mass of Christian burial was at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 5, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 515 Albert Street, St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior. Private interment was at a later date.
Memorials preferred to Cretin-Derham Hall or the Quentin and Sara Hietpas Endowed Scholarship Fund at the University of St. Thomas.
