Kaplan Offers Free Grad School Admissions Practice Tests on Campus

Kaplan Test Preparation and the UST Pre-Health Professions Club will hold free graduate school admissions practice tests on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The GRE, LSAT and MCAT practice tests start at 10 a.m. in McNeely Hall. This event is open to anyone who would like to take a practice test, even those who are not current UST students.

Each test will last up to four hours and will be proctored like an actual exam. After the test an instructor will give a short workshop on test-taking strategies and answer any questions. This “test” gives students a chance to see how they might score on the real thing and also get an idea of the kind of questions that will be on the actual test. The exams will be scored and returned to students later that afternoon with comprehensive feedback about their individual performances on the test.

To register for this free session fill out a Web form. Before the event students will be sent an e-mail confirming their registration and providing them with instructions for checking in on Saturday morning.

If the practice test students need isn’t offered on Saturday or they are unable to attend the event at UST, they still can take a free practice test. Log on to Kaplan to view a listing of events that will take place live online, using a Classroom Anywhere interface. This gives students the opportunity to take their practice test wherever they can gain access to an Internet connection.
