Presentation on sexual assault community resources is Thursday
A SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) nurse and SOS (Sexual Offense Services) community educator will present an information and educational session on sexual assault community resources from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O'Shaughnessy Educational Center.
The SANE nurse program provides immediate, compassionate, sensitive medical care and treatment to victims of sexual assault.
The Sexual Offense Services of Ramsey County is a rape and sexual assault center on Marshall Avenue that provides confidential 24 hour services to the community.
This program is sponsored by the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Sexual Violence Prevention Committee, Personal Counseling, Student Health Services and Wellness Center.
