Rachel Wobschall , Alumni and Constituent Relations, was reappointed by Gov. Tim Pawlenty as a public member of the Ombudsman Committee for Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities. She also was appointed committee chair for the 2009-10 term.
Dr. Fred Zimmerman , professor emeritus of engineering, gave a presentation, "The Localization of Globalization in Manufacturing," at the 2008 Manufacturers' Summit Oct. 24 in Minneapolis. He also noted presentations on sustainable manufacturing by Nick Weis '95 M.M.S.E., director of engineering and technology for Crystal Cabinet Works, and on workforce development by Jim Wendorff '97 M.B.A., vice president for human resources at Viracon.
