The Harry G. McNeely Jr. family and its company, Meritex Enterprises Inc., were honored as the first recipient of the Minnesota Family Business of the Year Award, presented by Minnesota Business Magazine. The award is sponsored by several localbusinesses including Bremer Bank and Grant Thornton. McNeely has a long-time association with St. Thomas, including providing generous donations that have helped shape the Opus College of Business and serving on the Board of Trustees. He is a parent and grandparent of St. Thomas alumni.
