Alumni who contact the Opus College of Business may end up speaking to Sarah Miller, the new assistant director of graduate business alumni relations. Miller most recently served as associate director of alumnae relations at the College of St. Benedict. Before that she spent four years as an analyst and then buyer for Target Corp.
Miller has significant event management experience. She chaired Target’s sponsorship in the Minnesota AIDS Walk for four years, earning her Target’s 2005 Best in Community Award for outstanding volunteer work. Her enthusiastic recruiting efforts resulted in an increase of more than 500 walkers during her leadership. She also chaired the volunteer center and alumni relations activities for the Basilica Block Party in 2005 and 2006. In 2006, she was chosen as the Up-and-Coming Special Events Planner by Minnesota Meetings and Events magazine.
