Ramsey County District Court Judge Robert Awsumb will speak Dec. 4

The UST Pre-Law Society presents Ramsey County District Court Judge Robert Awsumb, who will speak about his expertise in private litigation and his experiences as a judge in the Minnesota court system. He also will answer questions from the audience.

This event will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the auditorium, Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts. Pizza and pop will be served and all students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend.

Prior to his appointment as a Ramsey County District Court judge, Awsumb served as a private mediator and arbitrator in hundreds of civil disputes. He practiced in the areas of civil and commercial litigation from 1986 until 2005. He was a founding partner and attorney at Rambow and Awsumb, P.A., in Bloomington. Since 1993, Awsumb also has been an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law.
