'Reflections on the Dignity and Vocation of Women' is topic of talk on Friday

Deborah Savage, adjunct faculty member, Theology Department, will speak at the next Feminist Friday presentation from 12:15 to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O'Shaughnessy Educational Center. Her topic is "The Feminine Genius at Work: Reflections on the Dignity and Vocation of Women."

In his writings addressed to women, Pope John Paul II makes reference to something he has termed "the feminine genius." Interesting? Maybe. Controversial? Definitely. But what does it mean and what are the implications for an authentic understanding of the dignity and vocation of women?

This event is free and open to the public. Bring your lunch; dessert and beverages will be provided.
