Please remember in your prayers Stephen Stroh, nephew of Father John Malone, vice president of mission at St. Thomas. Stroh, 47, of Plymouth, Minn., died Saturday, Aug. 25, after a four-and-a-half-year battle with multiple myeloma.
Stroh graduated from St. Thomas in 1987 with a degree in criminal justice. He earned a master's in police leadership from the university in 2005. Stroh was a proud 25-year veteran of the Edina Police Department and continued to work throughout his illness until a week before his death.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th St. and Hwy 100, Edina, Minn. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Church of the Assumption, 51 W. Seventh St., St. Paul.
