Remember to take your bicycle home before Thanksgiving break

Public Safety and Parking Services advises all UST residents and students to bring their bicycles home for the winter or to find alternative off-campus storage before Thanksgiving break.

UST is not facilitated to store many bicycles for the winter and it becomes very difficult to snow plow around bicycles left on the bike racks during the winter. Leaving a bicycle exposed to winter weather elements might also cause considerable damage to it.

Resident students of Morrison Hall have the option of storing their bicycles in the R2 level storage room. Morrison Hall residents only need to swipe their UST ID card to gain access to this storage facility.

Public Safety also reminds residents that bicycles not locked to official bike racks will be confiscated by Public Safety; bicycles that appear to be abandoned may be given a warning tag and if unclaimed will be impounded as well. Bicycles taken into Public safety custody are held for a minimum of 90 days. After 90 days, unclaimed bicycles may be subject to disposal at the discretion of Public Safety.
