School of Law graduate named to Minnesota Lawyer’s ‘Up and Coming’ list
Caitlin Firer, a 2004 alumna of St. Thomas’ School of Law, has been named an "Up and Coming Attorney for 2006" by Minnesota Lawyer Magazine. She is the first School of Law graduate to receive this honor.
Firer is a staff attorney with Western Minnesota Legal Services in Willmar, Minn. The group provides free legal services to low income and senior residents in 10 western Minnesota counties. Caitlin has been with Western Minnesota Legal Services since 2004.
“Up and Coming Attorneys” are selected annually based on bar association activities, public service work, winning complex or difficult cases, rising to a leadership position or demonstrating great promise. Firer and the 14 other award honorees will be featured in a special section of Minnesota Lawyer and will be honored at an event in May.
