Series on Catholic Social Teaching at Home continues Sunday

The women of St. Thomas are invited to the last two sessions of a three-part series on Catholic Social Teaching at Home titled "The Church's Social Teaching: The Poor, the Environment and the Family."

At each session, a light brunch is served followed by a talk and discussion.

Sessions two and three will be held at Littlemore, 2139 Grand Ave., the Catholic Women's House:

  • 1 p.m. Sunday, April 26 – Dr. Jonathan and Stephanie Reyes – Jonathan is a visiting professor this spring, former president of the Augustine Institute in Denver, Colo., and now chief executive officer of Catholic Charities for the Archdiocese of Denver. The Reyes have six children and attend Nativity Parish.
  • 1 p.m. Sunday, May 3 – Dr. Michael and Teresa Naughton – Michael teaches in the School of Business and Department of Catholic Studies, and is chair of the John A. Ryan Institute for Catholic Social Thought. The Naughtons are raising five children and are members of Holy Spirit Parish.
