From Volunteers in Action
Volunteers In Action (VIA) is a student organization dedicated to providing the St. Thomas community with a variety of service opportunities in the Twin Cities. To do this, we offer six different sites, including: Adopt-A-Grandparent, Jane Addams, Listening House, Boys and Girls Club, Junior Tommies and Reach Out. Each site has something different to offer, depending on your interests.
Separate applications for individual sites are available in the Center for Community Partnership, Room 153, Murray-Herrick Campus Center . Complete your application and return it to the center by Friday, Sept. 22.
You will be required to attend one of these orientation sessions (in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center):
- Noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, or
- 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28.
Students will begin their volunteer experience the first week in October, so sign up today!
