The University of St. Thomas will continue a centuries-old tradition of the Catholic Church with a Solemn Vespers service at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. Vespers is an ecumenical service of liturgy and music. Father John Malone, vice president for mission, will preside.
The service will include psalms, petitions and music by the university’s Women’s Choir. All Souls Solemn Vespers is an opportunity to remember the dead and celebrate the communion of saints.
The public is welcome. The chapel is located on the university's St. Paul campus, on Cleveland Avenue near Laurel Avenue.
