St. Thomas Nominated to Participate in the Star Tribune's 2012 Top Workplaces Survey

St. Thomas has been nominated to participate in the Star Tribune’s 2012 Top Workplaces survey, and 500 randomly selected St. Thomas employees will receive emails this week asking them to complete a short questionnaire.

The Minneapolis-based newspaper, in conjunction with independent research firm Workplace Dynamics, conducts the annual survey to identify the top 100 employers in Minnesota and determine what makes them great places to work. The honorees will be announced in June.

St. Thomas Human Resources has randomly selected 500 St. Thomas employees and provided their St. Thomas email addresses to Workplace Dynamics. Those individuals will receive an email from Workplace Dynamics with a link to the online survey of 25 workplace questions. Respondents will have an opportunity to provide open-ended comments on what they like about their jobs and how St. Thomas could better assist them.

The survey will take five to 10 minutes to complete, and responses will be kept confidential. Questions about the survey can be directed to Deb Sagstetter, rewards and recognition manager in Human Resources, at Ext. 2-6521 or sags1682@stthomas.edu.

Two years ago, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal named St. Thomas a “Best Place to Work.” About 565 employees participated in the anonymous survey.
