Theater Department invites you to open house, auditions
Theater open house: If you’re majoring in, minoring in or interested in theater, join the joint Theater Department of the University of St. Thomas and the College of St. Catherine for an open house.
It’s scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, in Foley Theater at St. Thomas.
At the open house you can meet the directors and other students interested in theater, sign up for your area of interest and discuss the format for the upcoming auditions for this year's first two productions. All students are welcome – you need not be a theater major to get involved.
Auditions: Auditions will be held next week for the Theater Department’s first two productions this season, “The Haunting of Hill House,” to be performed Oct. 18-22 in Frey Theater at St. Catherine, and “The Dining Room,” to be performed Nov. 15-19 at St. Thomas.
UST and CSC students of all majors are welcome to auditions at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, in Room 15 (lower level), Brady Educational Center (St. Thomas) or 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, in Frey Theater at St. Catherine. If necessary, call-backs will be scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, in Frey Theater.
Both scripts will be on reserve in O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center and in the St. Catherine library.
