Theology Essay Contest submissions due Feb. 23
All current St. Thomas undergraduate students are invited to submit an essay of no more than 15 pages (not including bibliography) on any theological topic. Revised course papers are accepted.
The first-place winner will receive $150; two second-place prizes of $75 also will be awarded. Essays will be judged by theology faculty based on the following criteria: presentation of thesis, use of evidence, strength of conclusions, academic merit, literary merit and creativity of thought.
Papers will be accepted until 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23. You can pick up an essay format sheet in the Theology Department office, Room 153, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.
