Three Tommie Award finalists for 2006 are announced
From the Division of Student Affairs
Preliminary voting on 11 nominees has concluded and three finalists for the 2006 Tommie Award have been selected for the final voting process in mid-February 2006. The three finalists are:
- Lindsay Blair
- Alisha Gray
- Benjamin Kessler
Congratulations to the three finalists and the eight other nominees, including Anthony Denny, Molly Dose, Melissa Jones, Ashlee Kerkhoff, Sarah Lehan, Jennifer Perusek, Brian Weber and Nathan Worrell. All nominees have made significant contributions to this community and will leave a legacy of transformative leadership.
The Tommie Award has been presented since 1931 to a senior. It recognizes achievement in scholarship, leadership and campus involvement. It is the community of St. Thomas that selects the recipient of the award and it represents the highest ideals of the university.
