Volunteers in Action’s next event for Tommie Outreach is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 26. Tommie Outreach volunteers will work with Habitat for Humanity from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a house in St. Paul. Transportation and lunch will be provided.
Tommie Outreach is a new site for VIA this year. It is an opportunity to be involved with service work but does not require a weekly commitment like other VIA programs. Tommie Outreach also is a way for students to earn service hours for their clubs or organizations.
