UST students are invited to participate in the third annual Executive and Entrepreneurial (E2) Leadership Forum on Thursday, March 3. Students and faculty will have the opportunity to interact with some of the top executives from the Twin Cities area from 5:15 to 8 p.m. in Room 100, the McNeely Hall Great Room.
The E2 Forum is an annual banquet free to St. Thomas students. It includes a meal catered by the university that will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. More than 90 students have attended over the past two years.
In addition to the forum, the speakers will participate in classroom discussions throughout the day on Thursday, March 3, and host a follow-up networking event on Friday morning for more personal interaction with students. Faculty members are encouraged to invite the speakers into their classes. They will present on issues relevant to the curriculum set by the professors. Request an in-classroom guest speaker via e-mail to wave2748@stthomas.edu.
Sponsored by top Twin Cities executives, the E2 Forum honors the leadership of the St. Thomas student body by providing a venue for the business community to speak to the next generation of community and business leaders. E2 speakers give insight into their own professional journeys, often sharing candidly about the integration of faith and values into their personal and professional achievements.
This year’s lineup of speakers:
- Todd Allard, a former top marketing executive at Best Buy and current vice president of market planning and brand integration at Advanced Auto Parts
- Mark Evenson, senior vice president and managing director for UGL Equis, who previously served as vice president and managing director with The Staubach Co.
- Michael Pagh, president, CEO and co-founder of Great Lakes Management Co. (GLMC), a Minnesota commercial real estate management and marketing company
This event is open to all University of St. Thomas students, especially those in or aspiring to leadership or any student with an interest in personal development. A maximum of 75 students may register. Everyone must register at tommieforum.com.
The E2 Forum is hosted by the St. Thomas chapters of Saint Paul’s Outreach (SPO) and Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU), in cooperation with the St. Thomas Opus College of Business and the St. Thomas Office of Campus Ministry.
