Total Rewards Statements for 2013 Are Now Available

The 2013 personalized total rewards statements are now available for St. Thomas employees to view online and print. The total rewards statement summarizes the various components of employees’ St. Thomas total compensation package, including salary and fringe benefits, for calendar year 2013.

The University of St. Thomas compensation and benefits programs are designed to attract, retain and motivate a high caliber, diverse workforce. Through these programs the university seeks to enable, encourage and reward employee performance and contributions that meet the expectations established for each position and that support the university’s mission and overall objectives.

Please take time to review your total rewards statement. Total cash compensation includes base pay for time worked, paid time off, and any additional pay you may have earned for work over and above your normal assignment. The benefits (noncash) compensation includes the cost of benefits provided to you that are fully or partially funded by St. Thomas. With other benefits, UST is able to offer the benefits at a reduced group rate to you, or you are able to participate in the benefit on a pre-tax basis, thereby decreasing your taxable income and reducing your total out-of-pocket cost.

If you became eligible for any new benefits, or made a change to your benefit elections after Dec. 31, 2013, that information will not be reflected in this statement.

Your total rewards statements will be located in the Murphy Online System. Once you have logged into Murphy Online:
