TPT to Rebroadcast Holloran Center Forum on Immigration

Twin Cities Public Television’s Minnesota Channel will rebroadcast portions of the Holloran Center for Ethical Leadership in the Professions’ forum “What are the Legal and Ethical Boundaries for Dealing with Immigration: Is the New Arizona Law an Appropriate Response?” at 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5. The program also will air at 2 a.m., 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6.

This forum brought together nationally recognized advocates with opinions on both sides of Arizona’s pending immigration legislation. Forum participants had the opportunity to air their viewpoints and discuss the underlying legal and ethical issues with an audience of practicing attorneys, law professors and students, as well as representatives from community organizations that advocate for undocumented workers in Minnesota.

The one-hour televised forum features position statements from guest speakers, debate and commentary.

This video excerpt includes Archbishop Harry Flynn’s closing remarks:

The forum is part of an ongoing series of Medtronic Business and Law Roundtables hosted by the School of Law’s Holloran Center for Ethical Leadership in the Professions and the Center for Ethical Business Cultures at the Opus College of Business.
