Two new members join women's center advisory board
An undergraduate student and an employee of the university have been elected to the Luann Dummer Center for Women Advisory Board.
The undergraduate student, Breanna Alston, a sophomore, is an officer for the Women's Circle student club.
The other new member, Katie Ngumba, works at the Center for Intercultural Learning and Community Engagement (CILCE). While relatively new to St. Thomas, Ngumba comes with experience developing programs for girls at both Big Brothers Big Sisters and the YMCA.
The new members join current board members Elizabeth Dussol, Heather Farber-Lau, Dr. Angela High-Pippert, Dr. Jill Manske, Dr. Brenda Powell, Patricia Satzer, Dr. Mark Stansbury-O’Donnell and Tori Svoboda.
