Undergrads: Officially withdraw from spring-semester classes you do not intend to take

University policy states that undergraduate students who do not attend the first day of class may be dropped from the class roster at the discretion of the instructor; however, students should not assume that the instructor will drop them from a course if they fail to attend the first day.

University policy also requires undergraduate students who are registered for classes to pay their fees and receive grades for them.

It is the students’ responsibility to ensure that they are officially withdrawn from any course in which they are registered but do not attend.

If you have questions, call the Registrar ’s Office, (651) 962-6700.

First-semester undergraduate freshmen must have the signature of their faculty adviser on the Change in Registration form before the Registrar ’s Office can process it.

Students on a wait list are not officially enrolled; they must get the signature of the instructor on a Change in Registration form, which can be found on the University Registrar Web site. Students must then submit the form to the Registrar’s Office in Room 106, Aquinas Hall, to become officially enrolled.
