Undergraduates: Make sure you are officially registered in all classes by Friday, Feb. 9
From the Financial Aid Office
The Financial Aid Office will review your official registration as of the 10th day of classes (Friday, Feb. 9) and will revise financial aid if necessary. Be sure that you are officially registered in all of your classes by Feb. 9, including those for which you are waitlisted.
Here is a general guide to how financial aid awards may change based upon your official registration as of the 10th day of classes each semester:
Awards that require 12 or more credits
- University of St. Thomas grants, scholarships and awards
- Federal Pell Grant
- Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
- Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)
- National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant (SMART)
- Federal Stafford Loan
- Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Student (PLUS)
- Federal Perkins Loan
- Federal or Minnesota work study
- Private educational loans
- Private scholarships
You must be officially registered in 12 or more credits per semester to receive your maximum award. If you are registered for less than 12 credits, the funds listed above will be reduced or canceled.
Any university awards that are based on exact tuition charges will be modified to reflect your actual charges.
Award that requires 15 or more credits
- Minnesota State Grant
To receive the maximum state grant, recipients must be enrolled in 15 or more credits each semester. If you are registered for less than 15 credits, your Minnesota State Grant will be reduced accordingly.
