Speed Networking offered by Opus College of Business student clubs and the Communications Club
Speed Networking, an event for undergraduate students to learn and practice networking, will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. This event will be hosted by Opus College of Business student clubs and the Communications Club.
Business professionals from companies, including Target, Wells Fargo, PricewaterhouseCoopers and World Data Products, will interact with participants (like speed dating, only more useful) and will provide feedback on how students can hone their technique in this crucial skill. This fun and informative exercise will be helpful particularly for those students attending Job Fair next week.
The event also features a Student Club Fair, door prizes and free lunch from Erbert and Gerbert's.
Pre-registration is encouraged, although walk-ins are welcome. Register online at the Career Development Center Web site.
Speed Networking is co-sponsored by UST's Career Development Center and generously funded by Target Corp.
