An Up ’til Dawn all-team meeting will be held Thursday, Nov. 19, in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium.
The doors open at 3 p.m. but the main event starts at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. and features a performance by the local band Ferris at 6 p.m.
Participants must bring 50 names and addresses in order to receive a free “Game Over Cancer” T-shirt. A Wii gaming system will be given away at 9 p.m., but the winner must be present with student ID to win the game. A variety of other prizes also will be given away.
Up ’til Dawn is a student-run organization on campus that raises money and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The hospital is based in Memphis, Tenn. Last year, St. Thomas was fifth in the nation for its fundraising efforts, raising more than $88,000.
