UST alumni to taste wine, fund scholarships for Rochester area students
The “fruit of the vine” will put college funds in the pockets of Rochester-area students, thanks to a group of University of St. Thomas alumni.
St. Thomas’ Southeastern Minnesota Alumni Scholarship Committee has raised $46,000 of its $50,000 goal to endow a scholarship fund for area students, and the committee will host a wine-tasting evening to top it off.
St. Thomas alumni, friends and the public are invited to taste wines from Andy’s Liquor, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and gather with good company from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 21, in the Galleria Ballroom of the Radisson Plaza Hotel, 150 S. Broadway, Rochester, Minn.
Cost of the event is $25, of which $20 is tax-deductible.
