Acts of Kindness Committee Warms up Campus With Hot Chocolate Giveaway Today

It’s hot chocolate weather. Watch for Acts of Kindness Committee members today who will hand out hot chocolate packets starting at 11:30 a.m. Pick up a packet on the St. Paul campus in the lower quad and by Owens Science Hall, and on the Minneapolis campus outside Food for Thought.

In October, committee members handed out bookmarks. The bookmarks list small acts of kindness that anyone can do. To receive a bookmark e-mail Patty Petersen.

Acts of Kindness Award
The committee presents the Acts of Kindness Award, a traveling trophy, to a person or a group each month. The winner also receives a certificate and a gift card to Coffee Bené.

The UST community is invited to nominate a student, faculty or staff member, a UST organization or a department that has done something kind to make St. Thomas a great place to learn, work or live. Fill out the form on the Acts of Kindness website.

The award is part of the UST Acts of Kindness Campaign, which identifies, promotes, supports and inspires acts of kindness across the St. Thomas community. The campaign was created by the Office for Mission and Edna Comedy, associate vice president of human resources.
