Watch and discuss excerpts of movies April 12 at ‘Troubling Waters’ event
The series “Troubling Waters: Discussions on Meanings and Messages in Popular Culture and Film” presents a film viewing and discussion to be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, in the auditorium, Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts. This event is free and open to the public.
Watch excerpts of the movies “Crash,” “ North Country ” and “Pleasantville.” “Troubling Waters” is part of an ongoing UST series of interdisciplinary discussions on power, race, gender and culture in society.
The series is sponsored by American Cultural Studies, Justice and Peace Studies, the Luann Dummer Center for Women and the UST women’s studies programs.
