Welcome, visiting Chinese students, Catholic deacons and families
Please welcome to campus visiting Chinese students, and Catholic deacons and their families. They are among the external organizations holding summer camps and conferences on campus this week.
Nacel Open Door Inc. will host four groups of visiting Chinese Students on campus for classroom instruction and cultural opportunities through July 22. Nacel International School works in conjunction with a university to provide a progressive program with an international perspective that encourages students to become ethical citizens responsible for leadership and service in the global community. Catholic deacons and their families will host their annual Upper Midwest Regional Deacons' Conference July 18-20 in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. Deacon Russ Shupe of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis is this year’s organizer.
Other groups who return this week for additional camps are the Tommie Pride Basketball Camp and John Tauer Championship Basketball Camp.
